We just put a set of the Bobcat brand of solid tires on our S160. I'd say we have about 200 or so hours with very minimal wear. I would agree with you Steve on the loss of traction.

They are not quite like tracks but improve the ride, traction, steering, flotation. without a doubt the best IMO are CAMSO SKS 753. Best of all worlds. great in the snow and dirt, same traction forward and reverse. not to mention they look badass.

We got a set of solid tires for our skid steer. Before we were using 2 sets a year on concrete loading feed and such. With the solid tires we are one our 4th year with them (might be 5th, but they wi get replaced with solids when we change again ). We got the Nu-Air AT version, which is their premium all terrain tire. They also have another version for slightly less money. The Nu-Air tires also run well with over the tire tracks, as they can absorb the debris that may get stuck between the tire and the track. Overall I think Nu-Air AT offers more value for the money even though they cost . I am looking at solid tires for my 743. the guy selling them says they are 200lbs. a tire any pros or cons to these tires they appear to have a valve stem. the forums do not seem to be quite as active as they used to be. they say radial michelin is way to go if you got 12 inch tires. our tire guy sells a lot of the standard titan 7000 i believe it is. muddy buddy 10 inch is a little shorter than titan.
