I can't find any information outside of Ritchiespecs about it. There is all kinds of information about the dozers, but not the loader. Does anyone have any experience with these? How powerful are they for a loader? Are most of the parts the same as the dozers?

The track loader and excavator overlap in a lot of areas, whereas a 6 way dozer will greatly speed up shaping and finishing and is still plenty capable for light clearing. I use my dozer in the woods all the time, a set of limb risers and screens takes care of those branches.
It sounds like you don't know a lot about equipment either. A loader can reach up higher than a dozer to provide much better leverage for pushing tree's over. You can also lift the tree's and/or stump easier. Comparing a wheel loader to a track loader is like comparing a 2 wheel drive pick up to a 4 wheel drive pick up. Papa john, the parts and service manuals on the early komatsu kit, can take some understanding, when you do understand its hard to stop laughing, a cylinder is called a cauldron, an exhaust valve is an extingishment valve etc, the non injector position for the throttle , is with the little knob pulled up and the throttle control pushed forward .

Hi! I have purchased a hydraulic winch to mount on my Komatsu D20S track loader. I am well used to maintaining tractors and heavy equipment, but hydraulics have always been a weak point in my knowledge. Can I just plumb in a new hydraulic valve (to control the winch) to the high pressure line.
I have a 1979 Komatsu D75S-3 track loader that I was using when all of a sudden reverse got real weak and slow? Still moves, but not like it should in reverse. No problems going forward. Hoping someone on here could get me started on what to look at first. Machine doesn't get used that much it sits a lot . Oil and filters are fresh.
hello QuickTrax, I have installed the right side bucket tiltcylinder seal kit, thanks for the help, the gaskets worked great, i got the arm out and put it on the back bumber of an old truck and put a pin through an put a clamp on it, and supported the nut end with some timbers.
