If I am going with a Bobcat brand it is going to be a 773 or larger (I find a lot of 763 but they have the radial arm lift and I'd prefer to avoid that plus their lifting capacity os less than the 773). Skid steer loaders I definetly would say CAT all the way to the bank. Yes, they cost, but will put my CAT against any machine in the industry. I own the larger 262 model. It is 74 net 80 hp gross. Has a vertical auto lift path for loading and it cannot be bogged down. I have inclosed cab w/ heat air and CD. Love to use the 12' Protech pusher . An 1850 ROC machine with good tires will run a 10 foot box. Dedicated snow tires help, but we've run Arctic boxes for several years on regular skid tires. A lot of this equation depends on the box you want. A cheap ass 8' rubber edge box will work a 2500 ROC skid, where a nice box like Arctic or Metal Pless will just start to work the smaller .
