I think a tube would help, the only problem is, if you get a puncture, it's more work to repair. Some times that's the price you need to pay. Mounting tires is never easy, especially skidsteer tires that have the incredibly stiff sidewalls to prevent the flexing you need to get them in place. The best way would be if you had it on a tire machine where you can get to the back side, as it must be off the bead to get the other side on the rim. It just won't stretch enough otherwise.

The only skid steer tires that don't have tubes is when they are bought new. within a couple months all of the tires will have tubes. cleaning dairy alleys the guys always bump curb edges and instant flat tire. have always run this way and put tires on normally, valve to outside, that is no problem. We run Case, xt series. Patch your tires if the puncture is more than 1 ⁄ 2 in (1.3 cm) in from the sidewall or shoulder treads. Insert a tire plug for a temporary solution without removing the tire. Use a combination patch and plug to permanently repair tires from the inside. I would tube it, assuming you can get the tire apart. Here it runs 15-20 bucks to buy a new tube and have it installed. Just tell the guy running the breaker to work it slowly, or do it yourself.
