Spec wise it is a little bigger with lift and digging capacity than my 435 and is still a minimal tail swing. Compared to my e42, my e50 is just substantially more machine. I notice the difference especially when stumping. Stumps that I would have had to work at with the e42, pop out much easier with the e50. As you said, you could use a 36 inch tooth bucket but with rock and the fact that dirt can get tougher as you dig deeper, the 24 would be a great choice. You may also want a 12 or 16 .
