About a week ago the backup camera would not work in my 2017 Caterpillar 259D. Machine will not show the camera icon on the display. I have power to the camera, no visible abrasions in the wire, fuse is good. I reset the display, holding the outer two buttons for 5 seconds, no change in status. Last summer the machine was kept by the dealership for 2 months to replace a 0 manifold and the camera issue was not the focus, but it happened then too. There’s only 555 hours on the machine. How common is the camera problem in 333g’s? Someone else on this conversation had the original camera and the warranty replacement stop working.
