Hi everyone, I have an 1987 Case 1825 with the Nissan gas engine. Love the machine, but I need some counterweight. I put a set of clamp on forks (with chains) and the machine is tipping too much with not much of a load on it. Any suggestions as to how to do this or does anyone know if they have. Ok here is the story. I purchased this little Rounder L600 about 6 months ago. I own an Bobcat 873 and with a grapple bucket I can move plenty of material. The problem I had was the jobs where the client had a small or difficult to access area. Also I could not run an 873 down a sidewalk for. I've got a '01 ls170 equipped with high flow hydraulics. I'm really interested in a brushmonster 60 inch open front cutter. I've had lots of people say my machine can't handle it, but others say no problem. Brushmonster says it can handle .
Bradco recommends the counterweight kit if you mount a 609 on a 763. That being said, I have picked up the hoe when it is fully extended and not fully mounted to the loader. When traveling, I have the boom up and turned all the way right or left to keep the weight as close to the loader as possible.
